Kitchen Sink Packaging Requirements for Importers

Define the packed configuration

Start with the model number and the exact items included in the order. A sink-only carton and a sink with a faucet, drain fittings and optional accessories require different packing arrangements.

• List the sink, standard fittings and each optional accessory separately.
• Confirm whether accessories are packed inside the sink carton or in separate cartons.
• Identify surfaces, rims and projecting parts that need protection during handling.
• State the planned transport route and any buyer-required packaging evaluation.

Request measurements for the complete carton

Ask for external carton dimensions with units, gross weight, net weight and pieces per carton. Keep these values tied to the approved packing configuration. Product dimensions alone are not shipping dimensions.

For example, TS-SGSC02001 has catalogue reference dimensions of 720 × 400 mm. That reference does not establish its carton size, gross weight or accessory packing arrangement; those details need confirmation for the quotation.

Confirm labels and shipping marks

Provide the required model reference, quantity, destination and shipping marks. If branded cartons or manuals are required, identify the approved artwork version and language. Review product protection and printed artwork as separate approval items.

Approve a repeatable packing record

The agreed record should identify the model, accessory list, carton arrangement and any required photographs or test evidence. Ask for an updated record when a model, accessory or carton configuration changes. This page is a requirements checklist, not evidence that a packaging test has already been performed.
